Are you Interested in learning how to grow your own food and just don't know where to start? GIY Clonakilty are holding a FREE Vegetable Growing demonstration, at the Clonakilty Community Garden (above Deasys car park) on Saturday 19th March 2:00 to 3:00pm. This is aimed at new growers and children. Weather permitting.
Learn how to set up and maintain a raised bed, plant potatoes, onions and peas. Use of compost, manure and seaweed also discussed. Demo will be fun but informative. Additional demonstrations will then be held monthly throughout the growing season. So come along, follow our monthly demos and we guarantee that you'll have growing success this year.
If you are an experienced giyer , we would love you join us also to spread your knowledge and turn it into a real social event🐸
