Míle buíochas to John O’Regan, fire officer with Cork Co. Council & Ian Vickery, “Ian Vickery Safety” (Fire, First Aid & Emergency Management) who facilitated a fantastic workshop with Rang a 6 on Friday as part of their “Life Skills” programme.

Covering everything from fire safety in the home, how to recognise stroke, CPR, treating burns, basic bandages to how to call emergency services etc.

It was such a practical, comprehensive “hands on” course that will be of huge benefit to our Rang a 6, instilling confidence in them as they prepare to move onto the next phase of life.

What a fantastic day Rang a 6 had when they cycled to Inchydoney to celebrate the last few weeks together as a class before they go their separate ways. 💚💙

From digging, building & burying, to soccer & volleyball, chasing & beach games plus weathering a shower of hailstones (yes in June!!!! 😎) they banked a heap of memories to cherish!

What a special day for Charlie, his family, his club & his school when he lined out for the Cork Cumann na mBunscol team at half time in the Munster Final today.

What an honour & an achievement….. a memory to cherish forever. ✨✨

We’re also very grateful to Clonakilty GAA who continuously give us the use of the fantastic facilities in Ahamilla to train and play.

We are so proud of all our girls and we know that this is a day they will cherish for a long time.
