Ladybird Lane Day Nursery & Montessori Purpose built Nursery and Afterschool in Clogherhead providing Early Years Care and Education Open Mon – Fri 7.45am to 6pm. Tusla registered provider.

A purpose built childcare service with qualified and experienced staff, large playrooms & a spacious and secure outdoor play area. Full and part day care to 12 years old. Free ECCE Pre School Scheme. Extra hours available outside of ECCE hours. Afterschool Childcare including collection. Registered for the National Childcare Scheme (NCS) funding programme. Home cooked meals provided. Fees 2022/202

Under 2 years: Full week €190.00, Full day €42.00, Part day 8am to 1pm €25.00
Over 2 years: Full week €180.00, Full day €40.00, Part day to 1pm €24.00
ECCE rate: Full week €111.00, Full day €27.00, Part day 8am to 1pm €11.00
School age: €7.00 before school including drop off, €19.00 per afternoon, €33.00 full day school holidays, €160 full week school holidays. The NCS provides subsidies to parents to offset the cost of fees. Further information available at www.ncs.gov.ie

Mask making, sponge painting and Tuk Tuk rides! 😉
Wonderful colourful masks were created this week and provided lots of imaginative role play fun. The attention to detail was amazing ! Luke also took his friends for a spin in his wheelbarrow which made us giggle 😃 🥰

Iced latte anyone? ☕️
A donation of paper coffee cups provided lots of play opportunities this week. A coffee shop drive through was made, stacking games with the cups and even the box they came in provided fun! We also played with our foam letters and numbers and made play dough creations inside while we took a break from the lovely sunny weather 😎 We also had a cosy pyjama and movie morning with our favourite teddies and blankets 💕

Last week the children had some great ideas to keep cool in the shade 🔆 Simple tents pegged to washing lines and garden furniture then led on to using giant polydrons to make the tent walls stronger. The team work, inventive ideas and the co operation between the children was brilliant to see and kept them busy all afternoon 🥰

Our summer of fun has continued over the last few days. We have been busy making ( real) buns and (pretend) ice creams and lollipops to keep us cool in the sun. We then practised our yoga in the garden. Leila planted her apple seed in the hope that we shall have our very own apple tree!
We also made sparkly and pretty fairy doors for our garden. The fairies are watching over us as we play 💕

We have been busy with lots of arts and crafts including bracelet making, summer lanterns, creating our own fish bowls, little garden people, water play and making fans to cool us down. The highlight was when we found the biggest worm in the whole wide world!
