The Learning Reservoir is delighted to be delivering this practical, two-day programme at BIA Innovator Campus, Athenry, in partnership with Rural Food Skillnet.

📍 BIA Innovator Campus, Athenry, Co. Galway
€430 for trainees eligible for Rural Food Skillnet funding

Designed for food business operators, supervisors, HACCP team members and quality personnel, this programme will develop the practical skills and confidence needed to plan, conduct and report effective internal food safety audits.

🔎 A key feature of the programme is practical application.

Participants will have the opportunity to use BIA's food-grade production facilities to put auditing techniques into practice in a realistic food manufacturing environment — moving beyond audit theory to develop skills that can be applied back in the workplace.

The programme will cover:

• Planning and preparing for an internal audit
• Process-based auditing and gathering objective evidence
• Evaluating HACCP systems, PRPs and food safety documentation
• Identifying and documenting non-conformances
• Conducting practical audit activities in a food production environment
• Preparing clear, professional audit findings and reports

Participants who successfully complete the programme will receive a Certificate of Completion.

The Learning Reservoir is delighted to be delivering this practical, two-day programme at BIA Innovator Campus Campus, Athenry, in partnership with Rural Food Skillnet

📍 BIA Innovator Campus, Athenry, Co. Galway
 €450 for trainees eligible for Rural Food Skillnet funding

This programme is designed for food business operators, supervisors, HACCP team members and quality personnel who want to strengthen their ability to develop, implement, verify and maintain effective HACCP systems.

A key feature of the programme will be the opportunity to move beyond the classroom and undertake practical exercises using BIA's food-grade production facilities, applying HACCP principles in a realistic food manufacturing environment.

The programme will cover:

• Hazard analysis and risk assessment
• HACCP implementation and verification
• CCP identification and monitoring
• Process flow review
• Corrective actions and record keeping
• Practical application of HACCP within food manufacturing

Participants who successfully complete the programme will receive a Certificate of Completion.

We recently hosted another Forging Futures: Women in Manufacturing Network event in Galway — bringing together women from across the manufacturing sector for an afternoon of learning, connection and great conversation.
