Lahinch Art School is run by artist Gabriele Capacchione, MA Fine Arts. Gabriele is an experienced Art Teacher, who runs classes in studio and ‘An plein air’ in the scenic landscape of the Burren, and the nearby Cliffs of Moher, the picturesque towns of Doolin, Lahinch, Ennistymon, Lisdoonvarna and Miltown Malbay. Classes cater for groups, pupils of all age groups, from Art for children in the su
mmer holidays, intensive weekend workshops, and weekly Art Classes for all levels students all year round. Gabriele trained and studied in Italy, and he brings the art techniques of the Old Masters in painting, portraiture, landscape, watercolour, oils and sculpture to classes at LahinchArtSchool. Lahinch Art School has strong links with the ItalianArtSchool at Mattinata, in Puglia Italy, and offers an opportunity for Italian students to learn Art in the breathtaking landscape of the West of Ireland, and likewise for Irish students to enjoy painting holidays to the wonderfully spectacular region of Puglia in Southern Italy. Gabriele Capacchione also takes commissions for painting and sculpture, portraits, and landscapes of either Ireland or Italy.
