Keeping busy and out of the sun these past few days in Afterschool.
brought the colour and the kids brought the designs 🙌

The preschool children have been enjoying exploring bugs with books and art. They love the Hungry Caterpillar story, and have put together a lovely storyboard as gaeilge.
Then, out to uncover some real life bugs under the rocks in our field, where we found slugs, beetles and worms 🕷 🪲 🪱

It's that time of year when we are thinking of September (while also trying to live in the moment during May 😄) We have some available spaces in our Afterschool club, if you are looking for a lovely country school with before & after school care 💚

One batch of sand.... three stations - a 'construction site', an 'ice-cream restaurant' and a 'hotel playground' 😍🤩

The lovely April sun has had us exploring... the big school yard and our bovine neighbours 🐄

We're blessed with our surroundings here in Clooney. The natural surroundings growing at their own pace, in their own way... just like our children 🤗 👌 🍃

We are so very lucky as a preschool, to be encouraged and supported by the primary school with whom we share the grounds.
On our annual St Patrick's parade on Friday, out came all of Clooney NS children and teachers to cheer and make an arch for their littlest friends 💚💚

These may not be 'Instagram perfect' images but they are a glimpse of some of the most imaginative little people we know.

This group of different little personalities collaborated to create a chalk town of roads, shops, houses, gardens, pedestrian walkways and, of course, a Plaza 😄

Their creativity spilled into the indoors where they set up another town with a doctor's office, an Elverys/Aldi, a gaming set-up, a plaza restaurant and a McDonald's 😍

Nothing but encouragement for eachother, laughter, sharing, problem-solving, playful messing about.

Some days just happen this way... not all though 🤣 Must be the sunshine 💛
