🥊🔥 BATTLE IN THE BEG – FIGHT NIGHT! 🔥🥊

Fight Night is coming to Ballybeg this September 6th, and it’s shaping up to be a brilliant afternoon of combat sports!

The Emerald Kickboxing Club hosts a stacked WKO show featuring Kickboxing, K1, Low Kick and Boxing, with 3 TITLE FIGHTS on the card. 🏆🥊

Expect plenty of action, competitive match-ups and fighters stepping into the ring ready to put on a show. 💥

With the Curadh Muay Thai Interclub only 2 weeks away we just want to remind all competitors about the equipment required to compete safely at this and all events going forward 🥊🥊
It's the responsibility of each competitor to ensure they have the mandatory equipment needed to compete, it's absolutely NOT your coaches responsibility.
The event organisers will have spare headgear, body armour, gloves and shinpads but each competitor must have their own gumshield, groin-guard and chest protector. Failure to have these items means you will not be allowed to compete. 🚫🙅‍♀️

What an incredible few days representing Ireland at the WKO World Kickboxing Championships.

Every fighter who stepped onto the mats wore the Irish colours with pride, courage and determination. Whether bringing home gold, silver or bronze, or simply giving everything in every round, every member of Team Ireland can hold their head high. The standard of competition was outstanding, and every athlete represented themselves, their clubs and their country with honour.

One of the biggest highlights of the championships wasn't just the medals—it was the team spirit. Fighters from clubs all over Ireland stood shoulder to shoulder, encouraging one another, supporting one another and celebrating each other's successes. Win or lose, everyone got behind every Irish competitor, creating a fantastic team atmosphere that made everyone proud to be part of Team Ireland.

A huge thank you also goes to all of the parents, families and supporters who travelled to the championships. Your encouragement from the sidelines, your help throughout the week, and the way you supported not only your own fighters but every Irish competitor was simply outstanding. The teamwork and friendships shown by everyone made this trip even more special.

A massive congratulations to every single member of the WKO Ireland Kickboxing Team. You represented Ireland with pride, professionalism and respect, and you should all be extremely proud of your achievements.

Thank you to WKO Ireland, the coaches, officials, volunteers and everyone who helped make the championships such a memorable experience.

Robyn Wallace Lenihan representing BUDO self Defence & Kickboxing faces a TBC opponent and will aim to compete a Quadruple of domestic titles by adding the k-1 title to her Full Contact kickboxing,Low kick & Sport boxing Irish Titles and trying to surpass Her head coach of Budo Mr Brett Egan who was the first and only man in Ireland to hold all 3 Irish titles in the different disciplines of kickboxing.

Raphael Creamer from Birr k-1 Kickboxing and Self Defence Club and is the current WKO All Ireland light contact back to back Irish champion & Midland Championship low kick champion defends his Veterns K-1 Irish title against the experienced head Coach in Diarmuid Maher Toppro Carlow & previous Irish champions himself and famous coach from Carlow will compete against one another for prestigious WKO title

Luke O'Sullivan from Shannon kickboxing will defend his cadet Irish low kick title against Rhys Buckley from Moate mma and fitness.
These are the best 2 teenagers around & have bright futures in the sport and are currently Ireland's finest young talents

Filipe Nunes from Birr k-1 Kickboxing and Self Defence Club & undefeated in the WKO will defend his low kick for thev2nd time against an in form James Brazil who is on a 5 fight win streak & repersents Underground Combat Sports Club hailing from Offaly.Expect fireworks

A huge congratulations to Curadh Muay Thai on hosting a fantastic WKO Muay Thai Ireland Interclub last Saturday 🤝

It was a brilliant day of controlled demos, providing the perfect platform for juniors, first-time competitors, and experienced athletes to develop their skills in a safe, enjoyable environment🥊🥊

A big well done to every competitor, coach, and supporter who helped make the event such a positive and fun day 😀

We're delighted to announce that this will become a monthly event, with the next Interclub taking place on Saturday, 29th August. More details will be released over the coming days, so keep an eye on our page!👀

Another weekend and another Top WKO open Midlands Championship low kick light contact competition.Held in Nenagh County Tipperary.

Run By Mr Aidan Whelan 4th Degree black belt and coach of Nenagh Kickboxing Club and Mr Raphael Creamer 2nd degree Black Belt coach of birr K-1 kickboxing and self defence club..

With 26 clubs registering for the championships and with no politics just kickboxing.its success was evident high skilled and very close contests on the day with fair results all round.

This tournament only in its 2nd year is growing year on year and the standard again was Top class.

A Huge congratulations every club that participated and drove the standard of kickboxing through the roof on the day.

A plaque has been bought and the current double champions Birr will be engraved as back to back tournament table toppers 2025 & 2026

Who will top the table next year.???
