We were delighted to welcome back past pupil Ella Brennan, Captain of the Mayo LGFA Senior Team, to our school today.

We are incredibly proud of Ella and all she has achieved. Our pupils were fascinated to hear that during her time in 6th class, Ella helped our school win both the Mini 7s and the Cumann na mBunscol County Final, achievements that marked the beginning of a remarkable sporting journey!

Ella shared her inspiring story of resilience, determination and leadership with our pupils. She encouraged all our children to get involved in sport, to enjoy being active with their friends and to make the most of the opportunities available to them.

Thank you Ella, for taking the time to visit and motivate the next generation of Charlestown LGFA and Charlestown Sarsfields GAA footballers.
We wish you, and our past pupils Julia & Clodagh and indeed all of the Mayo LGFA team every success for the rest of the season 💚❤️

Huge congratulations to our boys’ team on their fantastic victory in the Connacht Mini 7s Finals! 🏆👏

The boys showed incredible teamwork, determination, skill, and sportsmanship throughout the whole competition, making the entire school proud.
