Teaching children sewing & design

We are a teaching/training service who specialise in teaching children and teenagers all aspects of sewing, pattern making and design. We have courses that are especially structured to teach primary school children right through to secondary school. Our core aim is to provide a fun and dynamic approach to an age old skill that lasts a lifetime. We believe that sewing at any level is a gift that every child can learn, and we endeavour to communicate our vast knowledge and experience to every child we teach.

Shauna Brazil of Co. Kildare Ireland is a fully qualified teacher who studied and trained at The Grafton Academy of dress design Dublin, and taught there for seven years. She taught dressmaking at Scoil Mhuire Clane Co. Kildare Adult education for three years. She set up Sew Creative Studios and has been teaching children her formulated courses in all aspects of hand and machine sewing at Ardclough Co. Kildare.

The core aim of Sew Creative Studios is that every child has an opportunity to learn how to sew, and every primary school can avail of our fantastic teaching service with our fully trained teachers that can teach in every school across the country as part of their curriculum.

Sew Creative Studios also run summer and Easter camps for children and teenagers. We have opportunities to become part of our dynamic and inspired team of teachers, with full training provided.
