It’s 30*C in the office today in Blacklion so thought it’s a good time to share this song again, written as part of a schools project here in West Cavan to help students with their writing skills. Definitely a good feel good summer song to sing along with.

I have been working with some local school students writing song lyrics as a way of improving writing skills. They were so good that we decided to record their song. They called themselves ‘The Cavan Stones’ and the song is called ‘The Road to Summer’. You can now listen on Spotify, Apple Music and Alexa at the following link -

New on Spotify, Apple Music and Alexa from today, my latest composition was inspired by visits to The Palmerston Café in Dumfries with my niece who co-wrote the lyrics and sings harmonies along with backing vocals by my niece Ceri 💜
