🐾 A huge thank you to Andrew Montgomery, owner of Dano’s Pet Shop in Strabane and Skeoge, Derry, for generously sponsoring Pluto’s food for the entire 2026/2027 academic year!

Special thanks also to wonderful Mum, Caroline Cairns, who works at Dano’s and has been looking after us so well. We are incredibly grateful for her kindness and support — Pluto is one very lucky boy! 🐾

Foróige has a new UBU project operating in East Donegal that works with children and young people aged 10 to 24. They are planning an after school group for 5th and 6th class children in Castlefinn every Wednesday from 4pm to 5.30pm in the SVP Drop Inn. There is no cost and it is open to all children in this age category. ⬇️

Yesterday, our 5th and 6th class pupils travelled to St Mary’s, Convoy, to take part in the Cumann na mBunscol Divisional Games.

The girls got off to a flying start with a great win against Raphoe before being narrowly beaten by Barnesmore. The boys also had a very close game against Raphoe, eventually losing out by just a point, before coming up against a very strong Barnesmore team.

There was some great football on display throughout the day, with all the children showing fantastic effort, teamwork and sportsmanship.

A big thank you to Barnesmore and Raphoe NS for some great, competitive games and a very enjoyable day. Best of luck to Barnesmore in the next round!

Today, eighteen boys and girls from 3rd and 4th class travelled to the Donegal GAA Centre of Excellence in Convoy to take part in a Gaelic Participation Blitz. The children played a series of matches with pupils from other schools and had a fantastic day of football.

The weather was brilliant, and it was great to see so many of our pupils enjoying themselves, getting involved and showing great teamwork and sportsmanship.

A big thank you to the Donegal GAA coaches for organising and running such a well-structured event and for making the day possible. Huge thanks also to Mr. Quinn and SNA Natasha for accompanying the pupils 😀
