Coláiste Néifinn Coláiste Néifinn is an established Irish Summer College in Castlebar, Athenry, Athlone, Glenamaddy and Ballina.

We are introducing a new course in Sligo this year Coláiste Néifinn:

Coláiste Néifinn is an established Irish Summer College in the West of Ireland, in Castlebar, Ballina Glenamaddy and Athenry. This college aims to bring life to our native language outside the Gaeltacht. Riall na Gaeilge:

The only way to learn a language properly, quickly and efficiently is to immerse yourself in it. So at Col

áiste Néifinn we believe in the seanfhocal “Is fearr Gaeilge briste ná Béarla cliste” and we enjoy the challenge of trying to only speak Irish for the duration of the course. We strongly encourage all students to follow this policy. Important Notices:

Students must provide their own lunches and drinks at all times. Students must remain on the premises at all times. Medical costs are the sole responsibility of the parents/guardian. It is important students bring comfortable clothing for am spóirt. Students will be given the opportunity to purchase Coláiste Néifinn’s hoodie during the course. On the final day of the course there will be a Sports Day and a Céilí Mór to complete the course. Buses will be organised from various locations subject to demand. Parents/Guardians will incur this service at an additional cost and will be responsible for their children while they are on the buses.
