The new ‘First Aid Essentials-Paediatric First Aid’ available since July 2026, is now one of the four certificates Tusla EYI’s accept for accredited First Aid training for staff in early years services. All training must be accredited in line with national PHECC accreditation.

National Childminding week 2026
19th of October -23rd of October 26

We are delighted to invite childminders and children to join us for a exciting session with Mini Messer's baby and toddler sensory session.

Date: Friday the 23rd of October
Time: 10:00am-12
Location: Castlebar Library, John Moore RD, Curragh, Castlebar.
This is a free event but booking is essential.

Enjoy a morning of fun filled activities were you can engage with other Childminders. Mayo CCC will also be there on the day to answer any questions you have regarding childminding.
We look forward to welcoming all childminders for a fantastic morning of fun!
