Limited Spaces Available – September 2026
We have a small number of spaces remaining in our morning preschool session for September 2026.
If your child is turning three before January, they are eligible for the FREE preschool scheme.
Many of the children who attend our service go on to Dualla National School, with others transitioning to Ballytarsna National School. Building friendships during preschool can make a big difference in helping children settle happily into national school.

We have 2 spaces available in our unique indoor/outdoor preschool setting!
Our approach to learning is child-led, allowing children the freedom to explore and learn in a way that feels natural to them. With access to both our indoor and outdoor classrooms all morning, children can choose where they feel most comfortable and inspired.

We would like to address some rumours that have been circulating, as we don’t want any parents or families to feel worried about the future of Dualla Village Preschool and Afterschool.
To reassure everyone: We are not closing in June, and no one is taking over the service.
Our preschool and Afterschool are thriving. Sarah and I absolutely love our jobs and are fully committed to our roles — we even plan to be here until we retire! 😊
We are very fortunate to have such a fantastic team supporting us every day, and we truly couldn’t do it without them.
Please be assured that we are not going anywhere. Our little service continues to grow from strength to strength, and we feel very privileged to care for the children in our wonderful community.

Dualla Village Preschool has a limited number of places available for our morning ECCE session starting September 2026 🌈
Our preschool offers a unique play experience, where children are free to move between our indoor and outdoor classrooms throughout the morning.
We provide a child-centred, play-based environment with a strong focus on sensory and messy play, supporting each child’s learning, confidence, and independence.

Morning everyone,

Another huge solar complex planning application has just been lodged.

It starts from the Cashel flyover into Dualla, covering Monadreela, Boscabell, George’s-Land, Brickendown, Rathordan, Kilscobin, Kilconnell & Mocklershill. It’s even bigger, and some sites sit right beside Power Capital’s proposed project.

This is just another blow after last week's disappointing news. We can't sit back and allow this to happen.

If both go ahead, Dualla, as we know it will never be the same again. The timing is a disgrace. The landowners behind this know exactly how the community feels but still chose greed over respect!!!

The injustice and corruption of our government in allowing corporations to destroy rural communities like ours is shocking.
