Sunny ☀️💕🐾🤗

14/09/2026

Last year, we were delighted to raise more than €1000 for Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind Cork.

Our dog, "Sunny" was decorated with children's handprints and had pride of place at The Metropole Hotel during the City of Tails Trail in August.

Sunny is currently hanging out with some of the guide dogs in training, and will return to his forever home at Bright Beginnings on the 24th of September.

Very thankful to Elaine and all at The Federation of Early Childhood Providers for bringing this to national news, as we have had absolutely no guidance or support from any of our inspectorate or regulatory bodies.

We know it is inconvenient for parents, but we will NEVER put the safety and welfare of any child at risk, ever!

Nor will I ask any member of our amazing team to work in uncomfortable or unsafe conditions.

It won't happen, ever, and I will never apologise for my rigid stance on this.

Thank you to our parents who have been wonderfully understanding of the position in which we have been put, and of the actions that we have had to take to ensure the safety of all.
