💙🩵We had the most amazing informative day celebrating World Autism Day. Special thanks to all the children who took part in our art competition while learning about Autism. All the children received a beautiful presentation with a live question time, a fantastic informative booklet and lovely gifts going home. It was a really special day. We dimmed the lights, explored sensory toys, played an empathy game and lowered our noise volumes. It was wonderful 💙🩵

We had a busy week of activities & a new edition to our monthly news booklet with the introduction of a junior edition too - thanks Elise for all your hard work and to all the children who got loads of enjoyment outof the February edition 💚🤍🧡

This deserves a post all on its own - absolutely amazing work 🩷🧡
One of our afterschoolers came up with the idea of making monthly booklets for our afterschool children & here's a look of the very first edition. In the monthly booklet there's news/crafts/stories & competitions for all children to enjoy. Well done Elise it's unbelieveable and I'm sure lots of the children will enjoy it immensely 💜💚

Children have always learned and created places for themselves through play. Children need the freedom and time to play.
Play is our brains favourite way of learning.
