Another first dance testimonial just landed and to that I’m eternally grateful to Zoe and Thomas Williams for their kind words . It’s been so good to witness the growth and transformation of these two over their wedding dance journey with me . A couple who had immense fear within themselves brought on by them thinking they had two left feet paired with self consciousness and a feeling that they don’t like being looked upon on the dance floor to a couple brimming with confidence as they mastered their first dance with ease and grace fills me with joy. And there is more - this one came in 3 days ago . I’m extremely grateful and honoured to have assisted Chelsea and Stephen with preparing their first dance routine to this upbeat popular song “Suddenly I See” by K T Tunstall and the funny thing is despite the awkwardness they had of having two left feet and having fear of dancing in front of their guests , they suddenly did see that by keeping a growth mindset approach to what I offered them , the magic did happen for them too on the floor . Because from getting over their fears and awkwardness they allowed themselves to laugh through the fun process I brought them on each week and with the practice they put in I could see by the end of their lessons with me , a complete transformation, and a fantastic first dance routine on their wedding night . BALLROOM DANCING –BEGINNER & INTERMEDIATE 8 WEEK COURSES !

AT Douglas Community School

Course Cost : €90 per person
Course Times :- 8.15-9.30pm

Beginner Social Ballroom and Latin American Dance Class

Discover the basics of Ballroom and Latin American Dances in a relaxed and enjoyable setting. Learn classic dances like the Waltz, Foxtrot, and Tango, and Latin American Dances like the Cha-Cha, Rumba, Salsa and Mambo.
This class will ignite your passion for dance and give you confidence on that dance floor.
Partner required!

It’s a great way to keep fit, meet other couples completely new to dance and learn in a fun relaxed atmosphere.
Courses start:- Tuesday February 29th 2026

Intermediate Ballroom and Latin American Dancing:

Elevate your dance skills with more intricate Ballroom and Latin routines.
This course is perfect for those who have mastered the basics. Partner required!

It’s a great way to keep fit, meet other couples and learn to dance in a fun relaxed atmosphere.
Course start: Wednesday September 30th 2026

To join the Intermediate course, you must have previously completed a Beginner Ballroom Dance Course.

And I think to myself “What A Wonderful World” and so “it is” because I get to do work I’m passionate about, work that causes transformations with hundreds of engaged couples across Southern Ireland and today a couple who I just finished assisting with their gold first dance package wrote back to tell me how thankful they were for having experienced the transformation of going from not knowing how to dance to feeling confident about doing their wedding dance routine and I’m extremely grateful I’ve made a positive contribution being a part of their wedding journey in this wonderful world we live in 😀🙏🙏🙏🙌🙌🙌🕺💃
