Congratulations to our very own Eimear Duffy who was part of the Leinster ladies u 18s squad who played Ulster yesterday. The ladies came out on top and are now through to the final next Saturday in Mullingar. Pictured below is Eimear receiving her jersey from Ireland’s Women’s team member Aoife Wafer. Well done Eimear on a strong performance yesterday.

Reminder:
🎙 The Candidate Self-Service Portal (CSSP) is now open for Leaving Certificate students.

All students are advised to log in, and ensure that they are registered and know their username/password well in advance of results day.

The CSSP will be used to:

✔️ Access Leaving Certificate results
✔️ View component marks
✔️ Apply to view examination scripts
✔️ View scripts online where available
✔️ Submit an appeal
✔️ Access appeal results

Students who have not yet registered will need their examination number and PPSN. Those who need to reset their password will require their examination number and the email address used when registering.

Please take time to check your access and avoid any unnecessary difficulty viewing results on the day.

There will be a Partial Solar Eclipse over Ireland on Wednesday evening!

This is when the moon moves in front of the sun, casting a shadow on the earth. It will last for approximately 2 hours, ⏲️ starting at 6pm and concluding at 8pm, with the maximum coverage occuring just after 7pm.
In Co. Monaghan, about 95% of the sun will be covered by the moon.

It's extremely dangerous to look at the sun directly, even during an eclipse! It can cause severe damage to your eyes. To safely view this partial solar eclipse you could make a PinHole Projector to view this rare solar event.

In April 2023 we were delighted to welcome Stevie McKenna and his brother, Aaron Mc Kenna to Inver College, Carrickmacross
Aaron and Stevie spoke with passion about their determination, their work ethic and their dream of success.
This success has come to fruition 👏 and we wholeheartedly congratulate them.

Stevie claimed his 17th professional victory, and Aaron claimed the vacant IBF world middleweight title, as a lifelong dream came true in his first bout on Irish soil at the 3Arena in Dublin.
We cannot wait to welcome a World Middle Weight Champion to our school very soon!
