Painting Outside!

From donations to marketplace , habitat restores to st Vincent de paul , all our loose parts, furniture and wall decor in our outdoor room have been sourced from these places.

Setting up for reopening on Monday, it is nice to share some of our outdoor areas, starting off with our Mud Kitchen

When is a mud kitchen not a mud kitchen????

A kitchen set up with very few resources, plastic resources, dry and clean…. Is not a mud kitchen

A mud kitchen should have the resources to allow it to become as the name suggests..A Mud Kitchen.
A mud kitchen in The Curiosity Approach embraces messy, authentic play where real mud, water, and loose parts take centre stage. Yes, it must have real mud!
What resources should be provided?
Real metal pots, pans, old teapots, real metal whisks, and ceramic or wooden bowls instead of brightly colored plastic toys
Soil
Sand
Water
Pot and Pans
Leaves
Acorns, pine cones
Stones
Sticks
shells
…and lots of Mud!!!
