🚗🚦 ROAD SAFETY – MAKING SAFER CHOICES! 🚒🚑

On Monday, 12th October, our Transition Year students attended an excellent Road Safety Road Show at Lough Rynn Castle Estate & Gardens, Mohill.

Through powerful real-life testimonies, informative presentations and a live fire service demonstration, students gained valuable insights into the importance of road safety and making responsible choices as future drivers. 🚘

Students heard from representatives of the RSA, An Garda Síochána, Leitrim Fire Service and the National Ambulance Service, along with Dr Fergal Hickey, road traffic collision survivor Elaine Hanley, road safety campaigner Leo Lieghio and an undertaker.

👏 A huge thank you to Leitrim County Council, who organised this important event in conjunction with the Road Safety Authority (RSA), An Garda Síochána, Leitrim Fire Service and the HSE, with sponsorship from Lough Rynn Castle Estate & Gardens.

Thank you also to all the speakers and contributors, including Councillor Mary Bohan, Cathaoirleach of Leitrim County Council, for making this such a meaningful and thought-provoking experience for our students. 💙

🚦 Safe choices save lives!
