We are very grateful that one of our parents, Áine Mullan, has organised a fundraiser to help raise money for some much needed library books in the school. We are asking for your help to buy one new reading book for every child at St. Brigid's National School, Glenmakee, Carndonagh, Co. Donegal. Reading for pleasure is in decline across the EU as digital devices compete for children's attention. We would like to reverse that trend by investing in one new book for each child at the school to reignite their joy for reading.

We had a super couple of days with our 6th class before they left us for the big school. We would like to wish them the best of luck again for CCS!!

Today, we celebrated 8 wonderful years with our 6th class pupils as they reached the end of their primary school journey. It was a special day filled with memories, laughter, and reflection on how much they have grown since they first walked through our doors. We are incredibly proud of all they have achieved and the remarkable young people they have become. While it is difficult to say goodbye, we know they are ready for the exciting adventures ahead. We wish them every happiness and success as they begin the next chapter of their journey at CCS. They will always hold a special place in our hearts. ♥️
