There was a fantastic atmosphere at Clermont House, SETU's Wicklow Campus, where the Student Enterprise Awards County Final took place this week. Lots of exciting and innovative ideas being presented by participants!

This event marks the culmination of months of work for over 1,100 secondary school students as the programme fosters a culture of entrepreneurship and innovation in the next generation.

We were so delighted to accept a generous donation on behalf of South East Technological University and SETU Lifelong Learning Carlow from Affirma Consulting of computer equipment that will go to our collaborative partners Tiglin. This donation will have a huge impact on the learners' experience at Tiglin.

Thank you to the team at Affirma, with special thanks to Jennifer Mahon, Ireland Site Director, who presented us with the equipment.

Did you know that 77 individuals from Tiglin are beginning higher education courses with SETU Lifelong Learning Carlow this month?

Funding awarded to SETU from the Higher Education Authority enables anybody accessing our services to avail of educational courses up to a masters level.
