Every year, there is a surge of individuals expressing interest in working as beach lifeguards and seeking courses in May, June, and July. Unfortunately, this timing is too late! To secure qualifications and apply for jobs, it's crucial to do so early in the season. County councils and the RNLI have already initiated their application process for the upcoming summer season, emphasizing the need for pre-qualification.

With Easter arriving early this year, the application deadlines and course schedules are even earlier. We have only three available pre-season opportunities, so act promptly to ensure your readiness for the upcoming beach lifeguard positions.

RLSS UK is inviting you to join our engaging Open Water Safety Series!

In collaboration with RNLI and Swim Ireland, the webinar series will cover various crucial aspects related to open water safety and awareness. They cost just €5 per talk (or €12.50 for Swim Ireland CPD points) and the profits will be split between RLSS UK and RLNI at the end of the series.

The next session is on Wednesday 6 December and will cover "Cold Water Shock". If you can't make it, the webinar will be recorded and sent out to anyone who signs up.
