Ballyhoura LTI Catering Support This course is 8 months duration with a FETAC Level 4 major award on completion, progressing to Further Education or Employment.

On completion you will develop a FETAC Level 4 major award progressing on to Further Education or Employment, in this course you develop a wide range of skills from handling knives, cooking and communicating in a kitchen. With this course you are supplied with a full chef uniform including safety shoes, you also get travel allowance, free training; learn new skills and a meal allowance there are

nine modules with include:
> Handling Food Hygienically
>Meal Service
> Customer Service
>Short Order Cooking
>Information Technology
>Kitchen Skills
>Communications
>Work Experience

Interested participants must be in receipt of social welfare payment, an age of 18-35 years with an interest in pursuing a career in the catering industry.
