Some research news to kick off the semester!
Our Research Stream Co-Lead, Bronagh Ćatibušić, has released research this summer on:

"Language education with adult migrants: A critical review of research 2017–2024"

This paper discusses current issues in language learning and teaching for adults from migrant backgrounds, based on research conducted across various countries in the 'Global North'.

It examines diversity among adult migrant learners, the value of multilingual approaches to language teaching, and the impact of migration policy on language education, highlighting key challenges and best practices in this field.

You'll find insights which may inform support for language learning that values multilingualism and fosters social inclusion, important aspects of adult education in the context of migration today.
