Another batch of blankets and shawls crocheted for St Josephs in Shankill (St Joseph's Shankill, Dedicated to Dementia Care).

There's wheelchair blankets for their trips out and bigger ones for brightening their beds. The triangular shawls are handy when it gets a little cooler in the evenings.

Thank you to St Joseph's for the bag of wool which will be turned into more blankets and shawls over the summer for them.

We met with Tommy from WH Five Loaves on Wednesday to present the cheque of the proceeds from the cake sale at the Our Lady Queen of Peace Fete.

Over a cuppa and cake we learnt a lot about WH Five Loaves and the work they do. This is a really great charity and they do a lot for the homeless in Bray.

We wish Tommy and the staff from WH Five Loaves all the best in the future.

That's a wrap for the Summer. We've no meetings until September when we'll be back with our Monday Guild meetings, Wednesday Knitting/Craft Club and Monday project craft night.

Thank you to all who bought cakes at the Our Lady Queen of Peace Summer Fete in aid of WH Five Loaves yesterday, and to all who generously donated baked goods along with the ladies of the Guild who baked and staffed the stand.

We didn't get a photo of the (overloaded) table before the Fete started as it got very busy very quickly 😄. The first photo is from about half way through the afternoon (maybe) and the second photo is what was left at 5pm, and about half of these were sold.

We had a brilliant day and are very grateful to the QoP Committee for the table.

ICA Bray will have a homemade cake stall at the Summer Fete this Sunday. All proceeds will go to 5 Loaves, Bray.

The Guild have been busily knitting and crocheting to make some gorgeous blankets for St Joseph's in Shankill and a hospice/hospital in Uganda.

Congratulations to Patricia on her fabulous wins at the Wicklow Federation Arts & Crafts night.

1st place for her painting, 2nd in the produce category (chocolate cake which was delicious).
