Spring and sunshine have finally arrived!! ☀️🌼 Check out what we’ve been up to now that the days are getting longer and the good weather is starting to make an appearance. Including our St. Patrick’s Day cerebrations ☘️🇮🇪😊

We have been super busy since we came back from our Christmas holidays!!😊 We have been learning all about the different types of foods we eat at home with our families that reflect our different cultures and backgrounds.🍜🌮 It’s been so much fun to try the tasty treats our friends have brought in for us. We’ve also become really interested in space and the solar system.🔭🧑‍🚀 We have been cutting, gluing, colouring and painting all the planets in our solar system and singing some VERY catchy songs about the planets.🪐🚀

This week we had a lot of fun preparing for our cosy pyjama day on Friday!!😊We did messy play, lots of arts and crafts and had more than a few dance parties!! We love dress up and imaginative play so playing dress up and doctors was also a big part of our week.🩺👩🏻‍⚕️Our favourite part by far though was Friday. We spent the day in our pyjamas and had hot chocolate together☕️ We finished off our pyjama day fun with a movie and some popcorn🤩😊

This week was science week in creche.👩🏻‍🔬We have done many very cool and exciting experiments involving colours to make melting rainbows and rainbows that jump from glass to glass, exploding volcanoes and coke rocket bottles.🌋🧪We’ve been exploring our environment and learning about how things work. We love science!!🧬 🔬

Happy Halloween to all our lovely families!!🎃We had a great time celebrating during our Halloween party day last Friday with the lots of spooky activities for everyone to enjoy including a mystery box, chocolate apple, cookie and chocolate donut spider making, a disco with Halloween songs, a costume fashion show and pumpkin carving!! We had the best time and we hope you do too.👻🎃
