🎉 The Parents’ Association is back in full swing! 🎉

We’re delighted to be back for another exciting year, and we’d love to ask each and every one of you to support us as we work towards achieving our goals for the year ahead. ❤️

We have lots of exciting fundraisers and events planned, which we’ll be sharing with you over the coming weeks. From our Timber Raffle to our Christmas Show and plenty more in between, there’s lots to look forward to!

Every bit of support makes a difference, whether it’s getting involved, spreading the word, or simply supporting one of our events. Together, we can make a real difference for our school and our children. 🌟

🌟 What an amazing start to the new school year 2026/2027! 🌟

Big, happy smiles and plenty of laughter have been filling the corridors of Scoil Mhuire Borrisokane since our pupils returned on Wednesday. 💙📚

We wish all our pupils a fantastic school year ahead, filled with learning, new experiences, making wonderful friends, lots of fun and plenty of happy memories! 🌈✨

A huge and very special welcome to our tiniest pupils — our new Junior Infants! 🥰🎒

It has been wonderful to see them arrive with such big smiles, excitement and enthusiasm as they begin their very first year of school. We hope they have a magical start to their school journey with us. 🌟

Just before Easter, we celebrated a national biodiversity award.
After Easter, our children returned to find mature trees and our native hedgerow destroyed.

They were heartbroken. But we won’t give up.

We will plant again.
We will protect again.
Because every tree is still a hope for our future.

Our Sixth Class pupils have been hard at work creating their entries for the An Post Battle of the Book Clubs competition 📚✨

For Challenge 1, pupils redesigned the cover of our class novel Holes using a mix of art, collage, photography, and digital design. The creativity and teamwork on display has been incredible, and we are so proud of them all 👏

Voting takes place this Thursday on the official An Post Instagram page and we would really appreciate the support of our school community. ❤️

Keep an eye out for our entries and give them a vote to help our pupils reach Challenge 2! 🤞
