We are absolutely delighted to announce that West Wicklow Youthreach has been awarded the WorldWise Global Schools Special Passport for the third year running! 🎉💚

The Special Passport is the highest level of recognition in the Global Passport programme, recognising our continued commitment to Global Citizenship Education.

From 🌱 sustainability and climate action to ⚖️ social justice, 🤝 inclusion, 🌍 global awareness and 💡 learner-led action, GCE continues to be an important part of learning and life at our centre.

A huge well done to all of our learners and staff, and a big thank you to the community organisations and partners who have supported us along the way. 💚

🌞 A great few weeks at our Summer Programme! 🌞

We enjoyed trips to Microsoft Dream Space, Russborough House, and the Europa Experience, along with creative tie dye activities, gardening and biodiversity spotting, an upcycling project, our first Youthreach BBQ, and engaging sessions with INSYNC and the Marie Keating Foundation. Learners also took part in the Healthy Food Made Easy programme, developing practical cooking skills and exploring healthy eating.
A fantastic mix of learning, creativity, wellbeing, and fun. Well done to everyone who took part. Have a wonderful summer and we look forward to welcoming everyone back next term! ☀️
