Congratulations to the Class of 2026
A massive congratulations to all of our 6th Year students on achieving fantastic results in todayโ€™s Leaving Certificate and Leaving Certificate Applied examinations.
It has been a wonderful morning of celebrations here at the school, as students arrived at 11 a.m. to meet with their classmates and teachers and share in this special occasion. Our results this year have been exceptional, and I would like to congratulate the Class of 2026 on their hard work, dedication and perseverance throughout their six years with us.
This particular group has shown remarkable resilience and adaptability. They spent their first two years at BCC navigating the challenges of the pandemic, when social distancing and face masks were part of everyday school life. Despite these unprecedented circumstances, they continued to demonstrate courage, determination and a strong work ethic โ€” qualities of which everyone at BCC can be immensely proud.
On behalf of the staff and Board of Management, I would like to extend our warmest congratulations to the Class of 2026, as well as to their parents, families and all those who supported them throughout their secondary school journey.
As students consider their next steps, I would also like to remind them that the school remains here to support them. If any student would like to call into the school next week to speak with our guidance counsellors or teachers, they are very welcome to do so.
Congratulations once again to the Class of 2026. We are incredibly proud of you and wish you every success and happiness in the exciting journey ahead.

Kind regards,

Kieran Burke.
Principal.

Each year, the Irish Second-Level Studentsโ€™ Union (ISSU), Institute of Guidance Counsellors (IGC), National Parents Council (NPC) and Department of Education and Youth work together to provide the National Parents and Students Leaving Certificate Helpline.

The Helpline opens on Leaving Certificate Results Day โ€“ Friday 21 August and is staffed by professional and experienced guidance counsellors.

Students and parents can get practical information and support on:

๐Ÿ“‹ Leaving Certificate results
๐ŸŽ“ CAO choices
๐Ÿ“„ Viewing examination scripts
๐Ÿ“ Appeals
๐Ÿ› ๏ธ Apprenticeships
๐Ÿ“š Further Education and Training (FET)
๐Ÿซ Tertiary programmes
โžก๏ธ Other pathways and next steps

๐Ÿ“ฑ The text service is also continuing for 2026, alongside the traditional phone service. It gives students and parents another way to get support, particularly for anyone who feels more comfortable starting the conversation by text.

Whether youโ€™re waiting for your own results or supporting a young person through Results Week, you donโ€™t need to have every answer in advance. If something is unclear, the Helpline is there to help you understand the options and work out what comes next.
