📚✨ Busy and joyful days in our Preschool Little Stars SBB ! ✨📚

We’ve had such an amazing time filled with learning, creativity, and lots of fun! Our little learners have been exploring, discovering, and growing every day through a variety of hands-on activities.

From building impressive structures with blocks 🧱, creative arts and crafts 🎨, painting and drawing ✏️, sensory play 👐, to role play and teamwork games 🤝 – every moment was full of excitement and curiosity. We also enjoyed outdoor activities that helped us stay active and develop our physical skills 🌿⚽

Each activity brought new opportunities to learn and grow!

We were delighted to welcome back some of our past children, who are now enjoying their adventure in big school. They spoke so confidently and happily about their teachers, classrooms, making friends, and learning lots of exciting new things.
The children listened carefully and were excited to ask questions about what school is like. It was a lovely opportunity to help prepare our preschoolers for their own next big step, reminding them that while starting school can feel new and different, it is also a wonderful adventure full of fun, learning, and new friendships.
Our visitors did a fantastic job reassuring the children and helping them feel excited and confident about moving on to big school soon.

The children became excited little travellers as the classroom transformed into a fun airport and airplane adventure. They packed suitcases, checked in for their flights, and boarded the pretend airplane as pilots, cabin crew, and passengers. The children also enjoyed reading a book about transportation and played a fun “Guess the Vehicle” game, using clues and sounds to identify different types of transport.

Afterschool Little Stars SBB happily welcomed the summer sunshine this week! ☀️🌈

The children enjoyed the beautiful weather while taking part in lots of fun and creative outdoor activities. We had group water play 💦, chalk painting 🎨, free play outside, and fabric painting, where the children could express their imagination and creativity.

These activities are not only great fun, but also help children develop important social skills, teamwork, confidence, fine motor skills, and creativity. 🌟

We are hoping for many more sunny days like these so our Little Stars can continue enjoying outdoor fun and making beautiful summer memories together! 💛

This week in Playgroup 1 and 2 we enjoyed a range of summer-themed activities that supported sensory exploration, creativity, and imagination. The children engaged in beach-themed sensory play, pretending to wash their feet while exploring rice, marbles, seashells, and fruity water play. We also had fun with a float and sink experiment, which encouraged curiosity and early science thinking. Along with role play where we applied sun cream on dolls to learn about self-care, the children also helped clean chairs, showing responsibility. They further expressed creativity by colouring frames for our loose parts area and decorating them using various loose parts materials. Also children explore some activities about insects after observing little creatures in our garden .

We had a very special visit! One of our children's dad, Adelson, came in this morning to share the wonderful art of Capoeira with the children. Capoeira is a unique Brazilian activity that combines movement, music, rhythm, dance, and martial arts in a playful and energetic way.
The children were absolutely fascinated from the very beginning. They enthusiastically joined in with the movements, listened carefully to the rhythms, and loved trying out the different actions.
It was such a joyful experience for everyone, and we are so grateful to Adelson for sharing his time, energy, and culture with us. The children truly enjoyed every moment of this very special morning! 🇧🇷💚
