🌟 A Week Full of Fun & Learning at Little Stars SBB Preschool! 🌟

Our Little Stars had a wonderful week packed with exciting activities, hands-on learning and plenty of opportunities to explore, create and play together! 💛

Throughout the week, the children enjoyed sensory play with construction vehicles, animals and different textures, colour recognition and sorting activities, creative face-making using pasta, yarn, pom-poms and pipe cleaners, building with blocks, imaginative play in our home corner, food matching and sorting activities, as well as fun letter and alphabet sensory play. 🧩🎨🦕🔤

We also enjoyed group activities where the children could spend time together, communicate, listen, share ideas and simply have fun with their friends. 🥰

Through all of these experiences, the children were developing:

✨ Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
✨ Creativity and imagination
✨ Colour, shape and letter recognition
✨ Early literacy and problem-solving skills
✨ Language and communication
✨ Social skills, sharing and turn-taking

🌟 Welcome to a New Preschool Adventure at Little Stars SBB! 🌟

We are so happy to welcome all our wonderful children and families to a new school year at Little Stars Preschool! 💛

Our first days together have already been full of smiles, curiosity, play and lots of little discoveries. The children have been busy exploring their classroom, enjoying sensory and creative activities, building, learning, playing together and beginning to make new friendships. 🧩🎨🌈

A big thank you to all our parents who joined us for our first Play Day. It was lovely to welcome you, spend some time together and help the children feel happy, safe and comfortable in their new Preschool environment. Your support makes such a difference. 💕

The beginning of Preschool is such a special time — new faces, new routines, new experiences and so many exciting moments ahead. We are very proud of how well our Little Stars are settling in and becoming more confident each day. ⭐

We are looking forward to a wonderful year filled with learning, laughter, friendship, creativity and many happy memories together.

✨ A summer full of smiles, friendship and beautiful memories. 💛☀️

Today we are saying goodbye to our wonderful Summer Camp at Little Stars SBB and getting ready to say hello to school tomorrow! 🎒📚✨

Looking back at all these wonderful memories, we can’t believe how much we managed to fit into one summer! ❤️ From arts & crafts, painting, sensory and messy play, baking and cooking, water activities, outdoor games and challenges, to lots of creative projects, teamwork, laughter and simply having fun together. 🎨🧁💦🌈

Most importantly, we watched new friendships grow, saw so many happy faces and shared lots of special moments together. 🥰

A huge thank you to all our amazing children for bringing so much energy, creativity and happiness to Little Stars every day. You made this summer truly special! ⭐

And thank you to all our wonderful parents for your continued trust and support. ❤️

We wish all our children the very best as they head back to school tomorrow — have a fantastic new school year, make wonderful memories and keep shining like the Little Stars you are! 🌟🎒

☀️💛 What a beautiful morning we had!
Today was all about celebrating the wonderful summer we’ve shared together and, at the same time, saying a heartfelt goodbye to the last of our friends as they get ready to begin their exciting new adventures at school. 🎒✨
We would also love to say a very special thank you to one of our previous children, who kindly came back to celebrate with us and filled our morning with beautiful music by playing the piano. 🎹💕
Seeing our children dancing, smiling and enjoying the music together made the morning truly magical. Moments like these remind us how special our little community is and how precious the friendships we make along the way can be.
Thank you for sharing such a beautiful morning with us, and to all our wonderful children and families, we wish those heading off to school the most amazing adventures ahead! 🌈💫
You will always have a special place in our hearts. ❤️

What a fun and exciting day we had!

As the children slowly finish up their time at the crèche, they have been coming into the class and sharing the things they would like to do on their last day. Today, the children enjoyed decorating a special banner together for the leaving party of some of their friends.

They had great fun dancing, playing games, laughing, and making special memories together. It was a lovely way to celebrate their friendships and enjoy one last day of fun together before saying goodbye. We will certainly miss them.

Our curious explorers had a fantastic week engaging their senses through creative play! From ocean water trays filled with sea creatures and shells to painting glass jars, digging into dinosaur habitat sensory bins, and cozying up with ocean picture books. 🌊🎨🦕

✨ Highlights from our week of sensory play! ✨
​Our little learners had an amazing week diving into hands-on exploration! They splashed in watermelon trays, rescued yarn-wrapped dinosaurs using scissors, created art with vegetable stamps following their interest in Supertato story book and ran their very own sensory coffee shop. 🍉🦕🎨

This week we extended our interest in the under the sea theme by creating a water play with shark toys! We were very interested in sand play in the garden so we extended this learning by mixing sand and paint and making sand artwork. We extended our interest in building by using blocks to create a road for our cars. And we extended our interest in water play by creating a sensory experience with milk!

☀️ The summer fun continues at Little Stars SBB, and our Summer Camp has been as busy and exciting as ever! 🌈✨

Another action-packed week full of fun, creativity, laughter and plenty of delicious treats! ❤️

👩‍🍳 Our little chefs were busy in the kitchen making yummy cupcakes, colourful mochi and cheesecake. Cooking and baking are always a huge hit and a fantastic way to practise measuring, following instructions, teamwork and independence… with the best part being the tasting! 😋🧁

🤪 Crazy Hair Day brought some seriously wild hairstyles, lots of giggles and plenty of creativity!

🎉 Our Summer Party was full of colour, balloons, treats, music and happy faces – the perfect summer celebration! ☀️🎈🍦

👗🕶️ And what a Fashion Show! Our runway was full of confidence, personality and imagination. The children created their own looks, accessories and funny signs before proudly showing them off on the catwalk. We definitely have some future designers in the making! 😂✨

🎨 We also enjoyed lots of arts & crafts, painting, designing and creating, as well as sensory tuff tray play, which encouraged exploration, curiosity and hands-on learning.

⚽🏃 There was plenty of time to get moving too, with outdoor games, football, obstacle-style activities and PE Hall fun – supporting teamwork, coordination and gross motor skills.

🎲♟️ And in between all the big activities, the children enjoyed board games, construction, creative play and spending time with friends, giving them lots of opportunities to problem-solve, communicate, share ideas and simply have fun together.
