This dog is in Monaghan County council dog pound.
Dog ref : 172
S*x : female ( advised neutered)
Description:Collie
Estimated Age : 6 years
Status: voluntary surrender
Info : A laid back lady, not at all over demanding for attention or company . She is happy either with people or left on her own. Her coat needs some attention…a professional groom will leave her looking like a dream with the wonderful colouring she has .
Not socialised with children/ unknown if ok with other dogs or cats. Has previously been an outdoor living dog but would adapt to house living easily.
A quieter household with outside space that is secure would suit… maybe an older person/s or someone seeking a companion pet that is laid back.

Info : Quite a bit smaller than most of his breed . Very friendly and quiet in kennels . Not lead trained . In good condition , eats well .
Previous owner advised good with other dogs / ok with cats / socialized with children over 10 years ( not verified ) . It is understood that this dog was procured as a potential working dog but did not receive suitable training . He has been regularly in the vicinity of cattle but would rather play than work . A smashing little dog that will make a great addition to the right person / family . He is used to having plenty of space in the country as an outdoor living dog . Very well socialized.
