Nóiníní Beaga is Birr's first and only Irish language playschool! It is the only form of education through the medium of Irish available in the Birr community. It opened it's doors late August 2011 and had it's official opening at the end of October 2011. personality Bláthnaid Ní Chofaigh be there on the day and officialy open it for us! We have added a Montessori section and hope to incorporate t

he total immersion structure of the Naíonra with the methods of Maria Montessori. Nóiníní Beaga can cater for up to 20 children and from September 2012 it held two sessions to meet the large demand of children enrolling. Morning 9am - 12pm

We are absolutely delighted to announce that we are Brand Ambassadors for
We have been using these name tags for a number of years now and we always recommend them to parents as they are super durable, come in so many different designs and they have a 10 year washing guarantee!

They have a range of labels available such as iron on, which can be used on clothing, uniforms, coats and underwear.
There are colour stickers in mini and maxi stickers which can be used on stationery, lunchboxes, school equipment, books, shoes and toys.

📢Information session for parents

Is your child due to start the free preschool programme in September 2022?

Do you have any concerns about their development/interactions and feel additional supports in their preschool might help?

The Access and Inclusion Model (AIM) is designed to help all children to get the most out of their preschool years.
Members of staff from the AIM team, in conjunction with Cork City and County Childcare Committees will be hosting an on-line information session for parents interested in finding out about the AIM programme.
