Our Cuisine from Around the World event featured a wonderful variety of traditional foods, giving everyone the opportunity to sample dishes from different countries.

A big thank you to everyone who contributed and helped make the event such a success. It was a fantastic celebration of diversity, inclusion, and community. 💙

This is beautiful work created by one of our students Nichola Roane. Nichola completed a Level 3 Ceramics Course with Art Teacher Jackie Lynch and has now set up her own craft business called Florentine's Treasures and is busy selling her work at local markets. Follow Florentine's Treasures on Instagram and Facebook for updates. Best of luck from all at LOETB Birr.

💚 World Mental Health Day 💚

Today, on World Mental Health Day, we take a moment to recognise the importance of looking after our mental health and wellbeing.

At our education centre, we understand that learning, work, family life, and everyday challenges can sometimes feel overwhelming. Taking time to connect with others, ask for support, and practise self-care can make a real difference.

Remember:
✨ It's okay not to be okay.
✨ It's okay to ask for help.
✨ You are not alone.

Let's continue to create a learning environment where everyone feels valued, supported, and included.

Our Business and Finance learners participated in an engaging LinkedIn Workshop delivered by a LinkedIn representative via Teams.

During the session, students learned:
✅ How to create a LinkedIn profile
✅ Ways to make their profile stand out to employers
✅ Tips for presenting themselves professionally online
✅ How to use LinkedIn effectively when exploring employment and career opportunities

The workshop provided valuable insights into developing an online professional presence and preparing for the world of work. Thank you to the facilitator for sharing their expertise and helping our learners take another step towards achieving their career goals.
