We offer care from 7:30am - 9:10am & 2pm - 6pm Monday to Friday.

Laugh & Learn Childcare breakfast club & afterschool club, based in shinrone are hiring.

The position is to cover maternity leave cover from February 2024 - July 2024. The contract offers 10 working hours weekly between 2pm - 4pm Monday- Friday.

Roles & responsibilities:
Homework support.
Organise play based activities.

Qualifications:
Children first certificate.
Minimum level 5 childcare.

Some pictures of last week's fun ❤

Monday we had loads of out door fun 🎾

Tuesday we had a day full of experiments, James and callum built a fantastic volcano, all of the children had a great time mixing ingredients and watching the reactions 🌋 we learned about refraction and watched how our pictures disappeared under water and reappeared again when we took it out 🤩

Wednesday we baked cookies and made delicious fruit skewers.

Thursday we had our fun day and made a trip to the Playground.

Friday we had lots of indoor games and made some beautiful bubble art 🎨

Laugh & Learn Childcare is offering 4 weeks of school age childcare in shinrone N.S in the month of July.

National Childcare Scheme accepted. For anyone who would like more information on the NCS scheme you can find it on mygov.ie and search NCS or you can call or text me anytime.

Children can attend from any school. Children who have just finished playschool may attend providing they are registered in primary school for Sept 23.

Today we tried something new in afterschool club with our 3 o clock group.
This was our very first completely outdoor session and it went down an absolute treat with the children 😁
We wrapped up warm and moved our tables and chairs to the garden and got stuck into homework and lots and lots of outdoor play.
I hope to continue this in the future as the children enjoyed it so much 😁

A small bit of info for parents wondering what the National childcare scheme is.

Visit mygov.ie and click on the NCS tab. It's very quick and simple to apply for. It takes about 10 - 15 minutes to set up and apply.
As explained down below there is two subsidys to choose from.

I am registered with the NCS scheme since last year and see the benefits it provides to family's.
