We had a very special visitor at Coomhola National School today! 🐾

The beautiful Kaci joined the principal Pól of the secondary school for a visit to tell the children about the school and its open evening next Thursday.

It was a pleasure to welcome them both. Casey was so well behaved and won everyone’s hearts, the children absolutely loved her! 🐶💛

🌊 A fantastic day exploring our shoreline!

Third to Sixth Class enjoyed a shore visit to Snave Beach with Stephanie O’Toole from Heritage in Schools. We explored biodiversity along the shoreline and in the water, and the children caught lots of fascinating creatures! Stephanie photographed their discoveries and will share her findings with us over the next few days. 🦀🔍

The weather was absolutely beautiful, with Third and Fourth Class walking back to school and Fifth and Sixth cycling. 🚶‍♀️🚴‍♂️

It’s wonderful to see our children developing a love for being active and exploring their local surroundings. A huge thank you to Stephanie for such an enjoyable visit! 💚
