At our end of September Assembly today we welcomed back our retired Butlerstown Bus driver Peter and presented him with a token of our appreciation for his kindness to the pupils and staff over his yeats here.
Múin Catherine presented our lovely SNAs with flowers to mark SNA Appreciation Day.
We listened to four 6th Class members of our Wellbeing Committee who reminded us of our school motto Respect Others, Respect Myself and Respect Our School and spoke to us about bullying, the importance of a trusted adult and our class Bí Cinéalta Boxes.
We spoke about upcoming events in the school in October as well as launching our Student Council for this year.
We finished by inviting our Summer and September birthdays up on stage.

Inspired by the Enormous Turnip story- Junior Infants had great fun in our school garden on Friday helped by Rang a Sé pulling up turnips and the last of our carrots and onions and also discovering our school pumpkin patch. Huge thank you to Margherita Gosling, Eleanor Lynch and Melissa Jones for their amazing work in our school garden all Summer.
