What a term it has been for both the teachers and students!

Over the last month, we took part in Moving in May, and even at weekends both teachers and students kept up the challenge and ensured they stayed active. The students also completed their folders, achieving some fantastic results.
We celebrated the graduation of our Healthcare, Hairdressing, and Youthreach students. It was a day filled with pride and emotion for both students and staff. As Maureen said, "It's not goodbye – you are all welcome back anytime."

We also managed to fit in a trip during the final week for some of our students. They enjoyed driving around the racecourse, although the instructor jokingly remarked that some of them aren't quite ready for the road just yet – as you can see from some of the expressions on their faces!
As we complete our Moving in May challenge this weekend, we would like to take this opportunity to wish all our students the very best of luck in the future. Well done to each and every one of you for your hard work, dedication, and achievements throughout the year.

As Frank Sinatra sang, “And now, the end is near, and so I face the final curtain.”

We were all spoiled again today! Some of our crew were busy finishing their final bits before the end of the year, while the rest cooked up a storm with a traditional bacon and cabbage dinner — and it was absolutely delicious. You can even see Dylan cutting some homegrown parsley from our fabulous garden in the poly tunnel on site.

We hope the cooking skills our students have developed will follow them into their next chapter and serve them well for years to come.

It’s been a very busy month so far at Banagher Further Education and Training Centre. Our students are putting the finishing touches to their folders in Health Care, Hairdressing, and all across our Youthreach programmes — and of course keeping up with our Moving in May challenge.

Today, some of the students also showed off their cooking skills and cooked up a storm, making two delicious desserts along with honey chilli chicken.

Well done to you all — we are super proud of the hard work, dedication, and effort everyone is putting in.
