Today the senior room explored how plants absorb water with a fun celery experiment! 🌱

The children placed celery stalks into coloured water and observed what happened as the water travelled up through the plant.

A simple experiment with lots of curiosity, predictions and scientific discovery!

Aistear in the Junior Room

This week, we have been exploring the theme ‘The Hospital’ through Aistear.

The children have been learning about the importance of hospitals, the people who work there and the different scenarios we might see, from treating injuries to caring for patients.

Through role-play and imaginative play, the children have been developing their language, communication and social skills while having lots of fun!
