⭐️ We had a fantastic Active Schools Week in our school, with lots of fun, activity and participation enjoyed by all our students.

To finish off a wonderful week, we were delighted to welcome Galway hurling star Evan Niland to our school. Evan presented every student with a medal in recognition of their participation and enthusiasm during Sports Day.🥇🏃🏻‍♀️

He also acknowledged the outstanding achievements of our boys’ hurling team, boys’ football team and girls’ football team, all of whom have enjoyed great success over the past number of years. Special awards were presented to members of our Active Schools Committee in recognition of their hard work and dedication.⚽️🏆

A highlight of the day was the raising of our Active School Flag, a fantastic achievement that reflects the commitment and effort of our entire school community in promoting physical activity and wellbeing. 🇧🇼

To top off the celebrations, an ice cream truck visited the school and every student enjoyed a well-deserved treat! 🍦

A huge thank you to Evan for taking the time to visit us and help us celebrate what has been a wonderful year of sport, activity and achievement in our school. ⭐️

Making the most of the beautiful weather today with some active learning on our Active Walkway ☀️🚶‍♂️📚

Our pupils loved getting outside, staying active, and bringing their learning to life in the fresh air. There was lots of movement, smiles, and fun all around! 🌈

A word of thanks to all for your generousity so far and an appeal for a final push towards our end goal. Come join us on 6 June for a Community Tea Party, light entertainment and mega raffle! It is a chance to host a community table or a family or friends reunion table. Let's promote this fantastic facility for our town and help us reach the finish line.

A huge well done to our girls football team on winning out their group in the Cumann na mBunscol competition today in Menlough 👏🏻
It was a very tightly contested group, with some excellent displays of football all round.
