Hi all,

Just before I pass over the account to the legends in the school, I just want to say a big thanks to everyone for an amazing 15 years in Chapelizod! Genuinely some of the best years I've ever had and couldn't have been more fortunate to work in a community like Chapo!!

I wholeheartedly believe there is no village like it anywhere and I will miss it terribly! However, Mullingar is home but I'll always have the Mullingar House nearby too! 😁

Big congrats to Stefan, Aaron, Emily and Grace (Team Brazil) who won our Active Week Mini Soccer Tournament!!

Emily was the Player of the Tournament with some unbelievable saves in the semi final and final!!

3. It is currently Active Week so outside the No Homework (other than active homework) we encourage everyone to keep active where possible! Ms Medlar and Ms Nyhan have done huge work in preparing everything from timetables to playlists to equipment etc - it's a minefield that they have taken on incredibly well! Among the events we have yard inflatables, yard games, orienteering in the Phoenix Park, Kid Boxing, Dance with Charlotte, Soccer Blitz with Mr Keelan, Yoga and much much more!

Santry success for St Patrick's NS Chapelizod as not only have all 23 of our athletes performed UNBELIEVABLY well but we have taken some big medals home too!

Elaine in the shot putt, Elliott in the long jump, Stefan in the 600m and an incredible FIRST PLACE for the Senior relay team of Adrian, Max, Zimo, Jakub, and Dáire!!

We will have photos up on the website next week! An unbelievable way to end this week and begin Active Week next week too!!!

Some of our pupils recently had a photoshoot with the Irish League of Credit Unions (ILCU) to promote the Credit Union Quiz 2024 across Ireland! Our Palmerstown CU liaison, Lakshay, has been promoted to the ILCU so got in touch to ask if we wanted to be the promotional school. The soccer campaign for 2024 will be starting once the FAI release fixtures to the schools. We want to thank (in advance) Cathy and the staff in St Seton’s Secondary School in Ballyfermot for being so kind to allow us to use their facilities for home games once again. We cannot thank them enough – Cathy in particular who goes out of her way to make sure we are catered for! Once the fixtures are out everyone will know!!!!
