**📢 New Report Highlights Rising Need**

A recent Daughters of Charity report shows a 14% increase in children being referred for mental-health and anxiety concerns.

This rise is already being felt across our Child & Family Service, especially within our *Early Childhood Development Service (ECDS)* centres, where more young children are arriving with emotional and wellbeing needs.

Our teams remain committed to providing safe, nurturing early-years environments — and to supporting families through early intervention, play-based learning and compassionate care. 💛

As children’s needs grow, so does the importance of strong community support. Together, we can help ensure every child gets the start they deserve. 🌱

There was a 14pc increase in children being referred for mental health or anxiety issues to a charity, a new report has shown.

The children really enjoyed a spooky and exciting day filled with dancing, games and a Halloween party! 👻
We also had a spooky sensory morning with lots of different sensory experiences for the children to explore 🕷

Halloween is creeping up on us! 🎃 Don't let your old costumes collect dust, donate them to our Halloween Costume Swap! Drop them off with Ann Geraghty or at the Cherry Orchard Community Centre - your old costume's new life is just a swap away! 😉

Our Halloween Swap Shop will take place on Tuesday October 21st from 1:30pm - 3:30pm. Be sure to drop in and swap an old costume for something different!

Today we had the Amazing Ben, Melanie and Matilda join us for an unforgettable Dino experience. The children were fascinated as they got up close with some snakes, lizards and bearded dragons 🦎

This hands on experience was packed with excitement and learning, giving the children a chance to feed, observe and explore these animals in a safe engaging way 🐍

A huge thank you to the Dino experience team for bringing the magic and making today special 💚

🎓🌟 Here at St.Vincents, we had an amazing day celebrating our pre-school graduation! It was a special day filled with smiles, laughter and a few happy tears.

A heartfelt thank you to all our amazing parents and families for your support throughout the year. And to our incredible staff your care and dedication make St.Vincents the nurturing and joyful place it is.

To our graduates heading off to Primary school, we are so proud of you and wish you all the best as you begin this exciting new chapter 🌟
