💛 Wishing Tara all the best for the future! 💛

With a heavy heart, we said goodbye to the wonderful Tara Downey, who has been a fantastic asset to our Afterschool Service.

Her caring, calm nature and dedication to School-Aged Children and children with additional needs have made such a positive difference. Tara will be greatly missed by our children and team.

Thank you for everything, Tara.

With heavy hearts, everyone at Tír na nÓg begins a very special week of farewells to the wonderful Nora Downey.

For the past 20 years, Nora has been at the heart of our preschool community, caring for, guiding, nurturing, and inspiring generations of children. Her kindness, dedication, and unwavering support have touched countless families and helped shape so many young lives.

Nora, thank you for being such an important part of our team and for the love and commitment you have shown every child who walked through our doors. Your impact on our community is immeasurable, and you will always hold a special place in the hearts of the children, families, and colleagues who have had the privilege of knowing you.

We wish you every happiness in this next chapter and look forward to celebrating your remarkable contribution throughout the week.

A special thank you to the staff at the Ballybunion Golf Club for their exceptional hospitality and attention to detail as we celebrated Nora’s retirement. Your kindness and professionalism made the occasion all the more special, and we are truly grateful for your contribution to a memorable day.

If you are looking for ways to help small children handle big emotions join us for our FREE parenting talk Wednesday 29th April 7 to 9pm at St Itas Community Hall, Abbeyfeale.
Life and Parent Coach Margaret Gilbert will help you build a Melt Down Management Tool Kit which will encourage resilience, confidence and self-esteem in your child.
This is suitable for parents and caregivers of children up to 12 years old.
