The parents of every child in our school is automatically a member of the Parents Association. We meet numerous times annually to discuss maters of interest and promote the involvement of parents and guardians of the children who attend our school

A huge thank you to all the parents and children who gave up some of their midterm break to support and enhance our Sensory Garden.

So much fantastic work was completed by everyone — weeding, planting, painting, replacing broken items, and giving the Music Wall and Sensory Board a wonderful makey. Bright and colourful sensory items have been added throughout the garden, and new stepping stones have been placed in the biodiversity area to encourage movement, exploration, and outdoor discovery.

We are especially delighted that the long-awaited roof has now been added to the pergola, creating a sheltered space that can be enjoyed by all the children in every type of weather.

We also have three very exciting new additions currently being worked on, and we can’t wait for the children to experience and explore them — so watch this space!

The wellies and stones that need repainting have been left out for the classes to work on, with Ms Masterson and Ms Murtagh organising this activity.

Thank you all so much for giving up your valuable time last week to help create such a welcoming, engaging, and supportive sensory environment for our children. Your support and hard work are greatly appreciated.
