Eight years. Hundreds of school days. Countless memories. And somehow, it's time to say goodbye ๐๐
Our End of Year Event last Thursday evening was, as always, a bittersweet occasion as we celebrated our 6th Class pupils and prepared to send them on to the next stage of their journey. For eight years they have been part of our school family, filling our classrooms, playgrounds and corridors with laughter, friendship, energy and personality. It is difficult to imagine school without them.
There was beautiful singing, plenty of smiles and more than a few moments spent looking back on all that these children have experienced and achieved together over the years. From their first days in Junior Infants to their final days in 6th Class, they have grown into confident, capable and caring young people of whom we are immensely proud.
Using 'The Ant and the Grasshopper Fable' as our theme, we reflected on the importance of hard work, perseverance and preparing for the future. Like the Ant, these children have spent years learning, growing and laying strong foundations for what comes next. Now they are ready to spread their wings and begin a new chapter.
We will miss each and every one of them more than they know. We thank them for the laughter, the memories and the contribution they have made to our school. We wish them every success, happiness and friendship in the years ahead. Once a Robertson pupil, always part of our school family. โค๏ธ
