I'm delighted to be teaching an upcoming Wednesday Morning Class in Watercolours in Ballinspittle, Co. Cork 🎨
Last couple of spots available now ♡

👩‍🎨 Start date: Weds. 16th July
Time: 9:45am - 11:45pm
Duration: 6 weeks
Location: .cork.collective, Ballinspittle, Co. Cork
Fee: €180 (incl light refreshments and the use of some materials)

Our shopfront panel is up .cork.collective in Ballinspittle, Kinsale, Ireland

All made right here in the gallery as customers and visitors wandered in and out ♡ Tree of Life painted in collaboration with .art, animals by me.

Our founder .rebecca.powell.artist had a vision for our shopfront to be vibrant, to reflect the local environment, a reverence for nature and the values of our artist collective.

Gosh it's hard to find words to describe this experience of a few days ago! Overcome with awe and wonder still, in meeting this Great Grey Owl. I'll never forget the bright yellow of those eyes looking back at me ♡

I've drawn and painted so many owls these past years and so wanted to see a living, breathing one up close. A pure privilege to have one perched on my hand.

Thanks to my sis for this opportunity and to the lovely Mira of Kerry Falconry for sharing her amazing knowledge with us 🙏🏽

Favourite painted sketch I made recently in the beautiful studio on the watercolour course with ♡
Inspired by a photo that John kindly shared of The Mermaids, a community of local women who gather to swim in the sea at Dunmore East.
This was a quick response to the scene, made in inks.. a totally new subject for me, absolutely loved the challenge ⛵
