Ballinrobe Community School Official account of Ballinrobe Community School, Co. Mayo, Ireland. We are a co-educational post-primary school. Our school is a faith community.

Ballinrobe Community School is a focal point in the community for learning and teaching of young people irrespective of religion, race, gender or abilities. Through its policies and activities, it aims at providing a tolerant and caring environment in which young people and adults can enjoy, exercise and fully develop their knowledge, talents and interests in the context of their responsibilities

to themselves, to others, to the school and to society. It presents values that are actively lived and communicated through the interpersonal and sincere relationships of its members. The school continually re-examines its goals and objectives and responds in a creative way to the demands of a changing age.

All students in 2nd Year recently competed in a Spelling Competition. They had great fun preparing and competing while also improving their literacy skills.

The class winners were: Nia Myladoor, Billy Donnellan, Shivam Sawant, Samuel,Ogundare and Tadhg Murphy and the overall 2nd Year Spelling Champion was Saoirse Macken.
