Busy making lots of test tiles to alter existing glazes.. i have bucket loads of stoneware glazes to change telmpiiture to suit a raku firing ..
Going to stand them up in a gas kiln so I can glazes front and back ..with 8 tests on each side ..this will make it easier to take out of hot kiln at 900c to 1000c ..hoping this method works .. I'm using white slip on half of each test area to see how glazes look on two different surfaces.. I think my next move is to make a sculpture form and do my altered tests all over the form in the same format as these tiles ..as test tiles are hard to keep track of and are useless on there own. .
