75 years.
75 years of waiting.
75 years of stories passed from one generation to the next.
75 years of believing that one day would come.

It was about grandparents who never stopped believing.
Parents who carried the hope, my Dad and Mam are dancin above in heaven tonight 🥹💚❤️
Children who grew up hearing the stories.
It was about every village, every town, every crossroads and every parish standing shoulder to shoulder as one.
For a few extraordinary hours, nothing else mattered.
The green and red flew from cottages and estates, cars, vans, tractors and shopfronts, pubs and apartments. Mayo people came home in person, or in spirit, from every corner of Ireland and across the world.
Because hope has a way of finding its people😉✨.
There were moments when the dream looked impossible.
There were years that broke our hearts.
There were reasons to stop believing.
But Mayo never did.
Today is proof that dreams don’t have expiry dates.
That resilience matters.
That character is forged in the waiting.
