Everyone at Moyne College is sending huge good luck wishes to our Leaving Cert student Rachel Peoples and the Castlebar Mitchels camogie team ahead of tomorrow's Galway Junior B 12-a-Side Championship Final against Ardrahan! ๐Ÿ†
Rachel has been in brilliant form all season, and she hit an impressive 2-1 in the semi-final as Mitchels powered past Mountbellew/Moylough on a 2-11 to 0-5 scoreline.
This is a chance for the team to make history for camogie in Castlebar. We're so proud of you, Rachel. Go out and enjoy every minute!
Up the Mitchels!

We were delighted to have Maire Brid from University Galway join us yesterday to talk to our 5th and 6th year students about successful study and taking care of wellbeing.
Students came away with practical strategies for planning their time, staying motivated, and remembering that rest, sleep and balance are just as important as the books.

Sincere thanks to Mรกire Brรญd for her time and wisdom, and to our Guidance Counsellor, Ms MacHale, for organising such a valuable session. ๐Ÿ‘

A number of our Transition Year, 6th Year, and LCA2 students recently enjoyed a fantastic and informative trip to WorldSkills Ireland at the RDS.

The event provided students with invaluable insights into the diverse and rewarding career paths open to them through traditional and modern apprenticeships in Ireland. A great day was had by all! A special thank you to Ms MacHale for organising the trip.

Huge congratulations to one of our 3rd year students, Bana Alhaj Ali, who wrote her very first book this summer, One More Try.
Inspired and supported by her parents, Bana was also hugely encouraged by our own English teacher, Ms. Jordan. Bana says Ms.Jordan always taught her to think outside the box, write creatively, and keep trying when things don't work out, which inspired the title of her book.
Bana is proof that persistence today leads to success tomorrow. We're so proud of you.

This little snippet of our wonderful Trad Group deserved a post of its own.
Their fantastic performance added something truly special to the magical atmosphere as we welcomed Sam Maguire to our school.
A special thank you to our Music teacher, Ms Delaney, and to Ms Knight and Ms Kenny for coordinating the students and making it possible, ๐Ÿ’šโค๏ธ
